Biore pore strips: Do they really work?

by Miss Janis (originally posted on her blog Showing Some Skin)

I'm a big fan of these.
They pull those big ol' blackheads right out - it's wickedly satisfying. That being said, it depends on a person's skin type and IF THEY FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. It's not rocket science, it's skin care. So for best results, you need to do the following:

- Wash face first in warm water with a scrubbing cleanser.

- Splash face with warm water or apply a hot towel.

- Apply pore strip to your warm, wet nose.

- After it dries, remove. It works best and is less painful if pulled slowly from bottom corners.

- Once removed, check out the gross stuff you just pulled out and revel!

- Lastly, and most importantly, TONE. The Biore toner works well and is inexpensive. After a pore strip, I usually apply liberally and let the toner air dry.

- Then make sure the mosturizer to apply is non-comedogenic (non-pore-clogging).
